Section 1702.165 - Issuance of Security Officer Commission; Pocket Card(a) The department:(1) may issue a security officer commission to an individual employed as a uniformed security officer; and(2) shall issue a security officer commission to a qualified employee of an armored car company that is a carrier conducting the armored car business under a federal or state permit or certificate.(b) A security officer commission issued under this section must be in the form of a pocket card designed by the department that identifies the security officer.Tex.
