Section 161.212 - Appraisal(a) Before purchasing land under the provisions of this chapter, the board shall have an appraisal of the property made to determine its value.(b) A person making an appraisal on behalf of the board shall be licensed or certified as an appraiser by the State of Texas.(c) The appraiser shall make a written report to the board in the form and manner required by the board.(d) Repealed by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 674, Sec. 21, eff.
