Section 271.052 - Certificates Payable From and Secured By Other Revenues(a) The governing body, instead of or in addition to other methods of payment provided by this subchapter, may provide that certificates will be paid from and secured by other revenues if the issuer is authorized by the state constitution or other statutes to secure or pay any kind of general or special obligation by or from those revenues.(b) The issuer may deliver certificates secured under this section in exchange for services or property in the same manner and with the same effect as otherwise provided by this subchapter or may sell the certificates for cash.Tex.
