Section 402.071 - Representatives(a) The commissioner shall establish qualifications for a representative and shall adopt rules establishing procedures for authorization of representatives.(b) A representative may receive a fee for providing representation under this subtitle only if the representative is:(1) an adjuster representing an insurance carrier; or(2) licensed to practice law.Amended By Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 265, Sec. 2.015, eff. 9/1/2005.
