Section 402.024 - Public Participation(a) The commissioner shall develop and implement policies that provide the public with a reasonable opportunity to appear before the division and to speak on issues under the general jurisdiction of the division.(b) The division shall comply with federal and state laws related to program and facility accessibility.(c) In addition to compliance with Subsection (a), the commissioner shall prepare and maintain a written plan that describes how a person who does not speak English may be provided reasonable access to the division's programs and services.Amended By Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 265, Sec. 2.004, eff. 9/1/2005.
