Section 1355.256 - Definitions Under Plan(a) A health benefit plan must define a condition to be a mental health condition or not a mental health condition in a manner consistent with generally recognized independent standards of medical practice.(b) A health benefit plan must define a condition to be a substance use disorder or not a substance use disorder in a manner consistent with generally recognized independent standards of medical practice.Tex.
