Section 885.061 - Amendment of Fraternal Benefit Society's Laws(a) A fraternal benefit society transacting business under this chapter shall file with the department a certified copy of each amendment of the fraternal benefit society's laws not later than the 90th day after the date of enactment of the amendment.(b) A printed copy of a fraternal benefit society's laws, as amended, that is certified by the society's secretary or corresponding officer is prima facie evidence that the laws were legally adopted.Added by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1419, Sec. 1, eff. 6/1/2003.
