(a) The commissioner shall collect and an applicant or administrator shall pay to the commissioner fees in an amount to be determined by the commissioner as follows: (1) a filing fee not to exceed $1,000 for processing an original application for a certificate of authority for an administrator;(2) a fee not to exceed $500 for an examination under Section 4151.201; and(3) a filing fee not to exceed $200 for an annual report.(b) The commissioner shall deposit a fee collected under Subsection (a)(1) or (3) to the credit of the Texas Department of Insurance operating account.(c) The commissioner shall deposit a fee collected under Subsection (a)(2) to the credit of the account described by Section 401.156(a).Tex.
