Section 63.001 - Definitions In this chapter:
(1) "Juvenile" means a person from the age of 10 to 18 years who has been found to have engaged in delinquent conduct by a court of competent jurisdiction.(2) "Facility" means a residential facility for the placement of juveniles for periods up to one year in length.Tex. Hum. Res. Code § 63.001
