Section 243.006 - Commitment Records A commitment to the department may not be received in evidence or used in any way in any proceedings in any court except in:
(1) subsequent proceedings under Title 3 of the Family Code against the same child;(2) imposing sentence in any criminal proceedings against the same person; or(3) subsequent civil commitment proceedings under Chapter 841, Health and Safety Code, regarding the same person.Tex.
