Section 203.006 - Medicaid Benefits The department shall:
(1) identify areas in which federal Medicaid program benefits could be used in a manner that is cost-effective for juveniles in the juvenile justice system;(2) develop a program to encourage application for and receipt of Medicaid benefits;(3) provide technical assistance to counties relating to eligibility for Medicaid benefits; and(4) monitor the extent to which counties make use of Medicaid benefits.Tex.
