Section 152.2492 - Wichita County Institutions(a) The juvenile board of Wichita County controls and supervises each county facility used for the detention of juveniles.(b) The chief juvenile probation officer shall appoint the superintendent of each facility. The juvenile board must confirm the appointment. A superintendent or an assistant may be suspended or removed at any time by the appointing authority.(c) The juvenile board shall set the salaries of the superintendents and assistants.(d) This section does not apply to a person or facility that provides services to juveniles under a contract with the commissioners court or juvenile board and that is licensed or registered by a state or federal agency or an agency of another state.Tex.
