Section 152.0761 - Ellis County(a) The Ellis County Juvenile Board is composed of the county judge, the district judges in Ellis County, and the judge of each statutory court in the county.(b) The juvenile board shall elect one of its members as chairman.(c) The commissioners court shall pay the juvenile board members an annual salary of not less than $3,600, payable in equal monthly installments from the general fund or any other available fund of the county.(d) The commissioners court shall pay the salaries of juvenile probation personnel and other expenses the chairman certifies as essential to provide services to children from the general fund of the county.(e) Juvenile probation officers serve at the pleasure of the juvenile board.(f) Sections 152.0004, 152.0005(b), and 152.0008 do not apply to the juvenile board of Ellis County.Tex.
