Section 554.001 - Admission of Certain Juveniles(a) The department shall use the Waco Center for Youth as a residential treatment facility for emotionally disturbed juveniles who: (1) have been admitted under Subtitle C to a facility of the department; or(2) are under the managing conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services and have been admitted under Subtitle C to the Waco Center for Youth.(b) An emotionally disturbed juvenile who has been found to have engaged in delinquent conduct or conduct indicating a need for supervision under Title 3, Family Code, may not be admitted to the Waco Center for Youth.Tex.
