Section 341.0356 - Order to Stop Operations(a) A public water supply system shall stop operations on receipt of a written notification of the executive director of the commission or an order of the commission issued under this section.(b) The executive director or the commission may order a public water supply system to stop operations if:(1) the system was constructed without the approval required by Section 341.035; or(2) the executive director determines that the system presents an imminent health hazard.(c) A notification or order issued under this section may be delivered by facsimile, by personal service, or by mail.(d) A water supply system subject to notification or an order under this section, on written request, is entitled to an opportunity to be heard by the commissioners at a commission meeting.(e) The public water supply system may not resume operations until the commission, the executive director, or a court authorizes the resumption.Tex.
