Section 242.325 - Assistance of Attorney General

The attorney general shall provide legal assistance as necessary in enforcing the provisions of this subchapter. This requirement does not relieve a local prosecuting officer of any of the prosecuting officer's duties under the law.

The 75th Legislature enacted two versions of Subchapter I. This version of Subchapter I, comprising §§242.301 through 242.327, is effective upon the issuance of a ruling by the federal government that the system established under Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1280, Art. 1, for licensure of nursing facility administrators does not comply with federal regulations. See also Subchapter I, comprising §§242.301 through 242.322, effective until the issuance of such a ruling.
