Section 242.157 - Dental Examination(a) The department shall require that each resident of an institution or the resident's custodian be asked at least once each year if the resident desires a dental examination and possible treatment at the resident's own expense.(b) Each institution shall be encouraged to use all reasonable efforts to arrange for a dental examination for each resident who desires one.(c) The institution is not liable for any costs relating to a dental examination under this section.Tex.
