Section 81.206 - General Rights Relating to Treatment A person receiving health services under this subchapter has the right to:
(1) appropriate treatment for the person's illness in an appropriate setting consistent with the protection of the person and the community;(2) not receive unnecessary or excessive medication;(3) refuse to participate in a research program; and(4) a humane treatment environment that provides reasonable protection from harm and appropriate privacy for personal needs.Tex.
