Section 544.0101 - [Effective 4/1/2025] Appointment Of Inspector General; Term

(a) The governor shall appoint an inspector general to serve as director of the office of inspector general.

(b) The inspector general serves a one-year term that expires February 1. (Gov. Code, Sec. 531.102(a-1).)
