Section 480.0206 - Prohibited Disbursements(a) Subject to Subsection (b), the office may not make a disbursement from the events trust fund that the office determines would be used to: (1) solicit the relocation of a professional sports franchise located in this state;(2) construct an arena, stadium, or convention center; or(3) conduct usual and customary maintenance of a facility.(b) Subsection (a) does not prohibit a disbursement from the events trust fund for the construction of temporary structures within an arena, stadium, or convention center that are necessary for the conduct of an event or temporary maintenance of a facility that is necessary for the preparation for or conduct of an event.Tex.
