Section 54.756 - Family Law Master(a) An El Paso family law master may be appointed as a judge of the criminal law magistrate court and continue as a family law master.(b) A family law master may not be appointed as a judge of the criminal law magistrate court unless the family law master agrees to the appointment.(c) A family law master appointed to serve as a judge of the criminal law magistrate court is not entitled to receive additional compensation for serving as a judge of that court unless the commissioners court provides additional compensation.Tex.
