Section 30.00978 - Court Reporter(a) The clerk of the court shall appoint the court reporter under Section 30.00010.(b) Repealed by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 691, Sec. 139(25), eff. Sept. 1, 1999.(c) The court reporter is not required to record testimony in a case unless the judge or one of the parties requests a record.
