Tex. Gov't Code § 2306.495

Section 2306.495 - Authorized Investments

Bonds issued by the department under this chapter are legal and authorized investments for:

(1) banks;

(2) savings banks;

(3) trust companies;

(4) savings and loan associations;

(5) insurance companies;

(6) fiduciaries;

(7) trustees;

(8) guardians; or

(9) sinking or other public funds of:

(A) this state;

(B) a municipality;

(C) a county;

(D) a school district; or

(E) another political subdivision or public agency of this state.
