Section 2306.175 - Transfer and Disposition of Property; Manner of Sale(a) The department may:(1) sell, assign, lease, encumber, mortgage, or otherwise dispose of real, personal, or mixed property, or an interest in property, or a deed of trust or mortgage lien interest owned by it or in its control, custody, or possession; and(2) release or relinquish a right, title, claim, lien, interest, easement, or demand acquired in any manner, including an equity or right of redemption in property foreclosed by it.(b) Notwithstanding any other law, the department may, under this section, conduct a public or private sale, with or without public bidding.Tex.
