Section 2267.0065 - Special Board of Review(a) If the local government denies the rezoning request submitted under this chapter, the matter may be appealed to a special board of review consisting of the following members:(1) the land commissioner;(2) the mayor of the municipality within whose corporate boundaries or extraterritorial jurisdiction the real property is located;(3) the county judge of the county in which the qualifying project is located;(4) the executive director of the state entity that proposes to develop or operate the qualifying project; and(5) a member appointed by the governor.(b) The land commissioner shall serve as the presiding officer of the special board of review.Tex.
