Section 2054.381 - Contracting; Historically Underutilized Businesses(a) In any procurement related to the establishment of a statewide technology center, the department shall maximize vendor competition and, to the extent feasible and cost-effective, interoperability.(b) In contracting under this subchapter, the department shall follow the requirements of Chapter 2161 and related rules regarding historically underutilized businesses.(c) The department shall provide to all qualified businesses the opportunity to compete for department contracts under this subchapter.Tex.
