Section 2003.0221 - Removal of Chief Administrative Law Judge It is a ground for removal from the position of chief administrative law judge that an appointee:
(1) does not have at the time of taking office the qualifications required by Section 2003.022(b);(2) does not maintain during service as chief administrative law judge a license to practice law in this state;(3) is ineligible to hold the position under Section 2003.0225;(4) cannot, because of illness or disability, discharge the appointee's duties for a substantial part of the appointee's term; or(5) engages in the practice of law in violation of Section 2003.022(c).Tex.
