Section 51.007 - Record of Ballot Distribution(a) As soon as practicable after the ballots are packaged for distribution, the authority responsible for distributing election supplies shall prepare a record of the number of ballots and the range of serial numbers on the ballots to be distributed to each presiding judge and the early voting clerk.(b) The authority shall preserve the record for the period for preserving the precinct election records.Amended by Acts 1991, 72nd Leg., ch. 554, Sec. 19, eff. 9/1/1991.
