Section 13.044 - Purportedly Acting As Volunteer Deputy Registrar(a) A person commits an offense if the person purports to act as a volunteer deputy registrar when the person does not have an effective appointment as a volunteer deputy registrar.(b) An offense under this section is a Class C misdemeanor.
