Section 13.037 - Compensation; Bond(a) A person may not receive compensation from the county for service as a volunteer deputy registrar unless compensation is authorized by the commissioners court.(b) An unpaid volunteer deputy is not required to give a bond in connection with the deputy's service.Amended by Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 916, Sec. 5, eff. 9/1/1993.
