Section 87.301 - Establishment(a) Texas A&M University--Kingsville is a coeducational institution of higher education located in the city of Kingsville. The university is a component institution of The Texas A&M University System and is under the management and control of the board of regents of The Texas A&M University System.(b) The board has the same powers and duties concerning Texas A&M University--Kingsville as are conferred on it by statute concerning Texas A&M University.Amended by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 227, Sec. 2, eff. 5/23/1997.Added by Acts 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 105, Sec. 7, eff. 9/1/1989.
