(a) An award or subsidy granted under this subchapter may be funded by donations, grants, or legislative appropriations. The commissioner may solicit and receive grants and donations for making awards under this subchapter. The agency shall account for and distribute the donations, grants, or legislative appropriations.(b) The agency shall apply to the program any available funds from its appropriations that may be used for purposes of the program.(c) The grant of any award or subsidy under the program is subject to the availability of funds.Added by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 260, Sec. 1, eff. 5/30/1995.
