Section 45A.164 - [Effective 1/1/2025] Jury Kept Together During Deliberation

When the case is submitted to the jury, the jury shall retire in the charge of an officer and be kept together until:

(1) the jury agrees to a verdict;

(2) the jury is discharged; or

(3) the court recesses. (Code Crim. Proc., Art. 45.034.)
