Section 14.073 - Penalty for Fraud(a) A person commits an offense if the person:(1) issues or aids in issuing a receipt or scale weight ticket knowing that the grain covered by the receipt or scale weight ticket has not been actually received at the grain warehouse;(2) issues or aids in issuing a duplicate or additional negotiable receipt for grain knowing that a former negotiable receipt for the same grain or any part of the grain is outstanding except as permitted by Section 14.055; or(3) fraudulently and without proper authority represents, forges, alters, counterfeits, or simulates any license, scale weight ticket, or receipt provided for by this chapter.(b) An offense under this section is a felony of the second degree.Tex.
