Section 66-29-170 - Action to enforce determination and secure payment or delivery(a) When a determination under § 66-29-166 becomes final, and after the period for filing an action under § 66-29-169, the treasurer may commence an action in the chancery court for Davidson County or in an appropriate court of another state to enforce the determination and secure payment or delivery of past due, unpaid, or undelivered property.(b) In an action under subsection (a), if no court in this state has jurisdiction over the defendant, the treasurer may commence an action in a federal or state court of competent jurisdiction.Added by 2017 Tenn.
