Section 64-4-112 - Bondholders' rights generallyAny holder or holders of bonds, including the trustee or trustees for holders of such bonds, have the right, in addition to all other rights:
(1) By mandamus or other suit, action or proceeding in any court of competent jurisdiction, to enforce the rights of the holder or holders of bonds against the county legislative body authorizing and issuing the bonds, the port authority, the board or any other proper officer, agent or employee of any of them, including, but without limitation, the right to require the county legislative body authorizing and issuing the bonds, the port authority, the board, and any proper officer, agent or employee of any of them, to assess, levy and collect taxes; and to fix and collect rates and charges adequate to carry out any agreement as to, or pledge of, taxes or authority revenues and to require the county legislative body authorizing and issuing the bonds, the port authority, the board, and any officer, agent or employee of them, to carry out any other covenants and agreements, and to perform its and their duties under this chapter; and(2) By action or suit in equity to enjoin any acts or things, that may be unlawful or in violation of the rights of such holders of bonds.Acts 1980, ch. 900, § 12; T.C.A., § 66-4-112.
