Section 56-26-123 - Violation - Forfeiture - Revocation of license(a) Any person, partnership or corporation willfully violating any provision of this chapter or order of the commissioner made in accordance with this chapter shall forfeit to this state a sum not to exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000) for each violation, which may be recovered by a civil action.(b) The commissioner may also suspend or revoke the license of an insurer or agent for any willful violation.Acts 1955, ch. 4, § 10; T.C.A., § 56-3323.
