Section 47-26-1015 - Measurement practices and equipment usedA public weighmaster shall use measurement practices and equipment:
(1) In accordance with the requirements of the latest edition of NIST Handbook 44, "Specifications, Tolerances, and Other Technical Requirements for Weighing and Measuring Devices";(2) Examined, tested, and approved for use by a weights and measures official of this state; and(3) Suitable for the weighing of the amount and kind of material to be weighed.
