Section 58-30-115 - Continuing education requirements-ExceptionsThe provisions of §§ 58-30-114 to 58-30-121, inclusive, do not apply to the following persons:
(1) Licensees for whom an examination is not required under the laws of this state. However, persons who are excused from the examination under subdivision 58-30-52(1) may not be exempt;(2) Licensees over age sixty-five, if they have been licensed with the Division of Insurance for a period of at least ten years, and do not sell, solicit, or negotiate insurance; and(3) Licensees holding limited or restricted licenses, as the director of the Division of Insurance may determine except as provided by subdivision 58-30-116(2).SL 1984, ch 331, § 2; SL 2006, ch 262, §1; SL 2010, ch 233, §8; SL 2012, ch 249, §1.
