Section 46A-9-80 - Duties of water master The water master shall:
(1) Enforce procedures for distribution of water by court decree;(2) Enforce priorities and rights pertaining to the use of water as established by statute or case law;(3) Administer the distribution of water obtained through any contract pursuant to § 46A-9-43;(4) Provide for the regulation and security of headgates and measuring devices as necessary to enforce the proper distribution of water; and(5) Perform such other duties as the board of directors may specify.
