Section 36-9-78 - Qualification criteria for education assistance scholarshipTo qualify for the nurses' education assistance scholarship program the applicant shall meet the following criteria:
(1) Be a citizen of the United States and a South Dakota resident for a minimum of one year immediately preceding the date of application;(2) Meet the criteria established by the South Dakota Board of Nursing;(3) Be accepted into a board approved nursing education program for licensed practical nurses or registered nurses whether leading to initial licensure or degree enhancement; and(4) Have or maintain a satisfactory grade for progression in the nursing education program as determined by the faculty of the institution.SL 1989, ch 325, § 3; SL 2014, ch 180, §7.Amended by S.L. 2014, ch. 180,s. 7, eff. 7/1/2014.
