Section 36-15-4 - Qualifications of professional commission members-School affiliation prohibitedEach professional member of the commission shall be:
(1) A resident of this state;(2) At least twenty-five years of age;(3) Actively engaged in the practice of cosmetology for the three years immediately preceding the appointment; and(4) Currently licensed as a cosmetologist in this state at the time of the appointment and while serving on the commission.No member of the commission may be a member of or affiliated with or have an interest in any school while in office.
