Section 34-12-53 - Trauma care system and statewide trauma registry

The department shall develop, implement, and administer a trauma care system including a statewide trauma registry that involves all hospitals, freestanding emergency medical care facilities, rural emergency hospitals, and emergency medical services within the state.
