Section 12-22-7 - Original jurisdiction of contests
Original jurisdiction over such contests shall be as follows:
(1) As to contests involving state offices, or judicial officers in the Supreme Court;(2) As to all other contests, in the circuit court of a county which includes the locality where the election or some part thereof was conducted.
