Section 72.05.425 - Student records and information-Necessary for risk assessment, security classification, and proper placement-Rules(1) The department shall establish by rule, in consultation with the office of the superintendent of public instruction, those student records and information necessary to conduct a risk assessment, make a security classification, and ensure proper placement. Those records shall include at least: (a) Any history of placement in special education programs;(b) Any past, current, or pending disciplinary action;(c) Any history of violent, aggressive, or disruptive behavior, or gang membership, or behavior listed in RCW 13.04.155;(d) Any use of weapons that is illegal or in violation of school policy;(e) Any history of truancy;(f) Any drug or alcohol abuse;(g) Any health conditions affecting the juvenile's placement needs; and(h) Any other relevant information.(2) For purposes of this section "gang" has the meaning defined in RCW 28A.225.225.
