Section 69.41.041 - Long-term care facilities and hospice programs-Legend drug prescriptions and chart orders(1) A pharmacy may dispense legend drugs to the resident of a long-term care facility or hospice program on the basis of a written or electronically signed prescription or chart order sent via facsimile copy by the prescriber to the long-term care facility or hospice program, and communicated or transmitted to the pharmacy pursuant to RCW 18.64.550.(2) For the purpose of this section, the terms "long-term care facility," "hospice program," and "chart order" have the meanings provided in RCW 18.64.011.Amended by 2020 c 57,§ 87, eff. 6/11/2020.Added by 2016 c 148,§ 7, eff. 6/9/2016.
