All salaries, wages, fees or other compensation of physicians, attorneys, investigators, assistants and other employes necessary for the proper administration of the fund and the proper conduct of the work of the board shall be paid out of the fund. All payments to employes, dependents of deceased employes, physicians, attorneys, investigators, assistants and others entitled to be paid out of the fund shall be made by the State Treasurer upon requisition of the secretary.
