Section 120.116 - Conveyance authorized

The Department of Property and Supplies, with the approval of the Governor, is hereby authorized, on behalf of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, to convey to the government of the United States, for the purposes of the Kettle Creek Dam and Reservoir Project, for a consideration of one dollar ($1), two tracts of land situate in the Township of Leidy, County of Clinton and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, bounded and described as follows:

Tract Number 101. Beginning at a point on the east bank of Kettle Creek, said point being on the dividing line between land, now or formerly, of Benjamin E. Arnold and land, now or formerly, of R. E. Bennett et al. and land, now or formerly, of Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; thence binding said land of Bennett as follows:

(1) North 42 degrees 33 minutes 30 seconds East 165.00 feet, (2) North 12 degrees 21 minutes 30 seconds West 597.02 feet to said land of Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; thence over and across said land of Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as follows:
(1) South 52 degrees 25 minutes 53 seconds East 1099.14 feet, (2) due South 1000.00 feet, (3) South 18 degrees 31 minutes 28 seconds West 2043.34 feet to said land of Arnold; thence binding said land of Arnold as follows:
(1) North 32 degrees 12 minutes 33 seconds West 1033.13 feet, (2) North 19 degrees 47 minutes 48 seconds East 1387.32 feet, (3) North 09 degrees 48 minutes 20 seconds 734.15 feet to the point or place of beginning, containing 37.04 acres of land, more or less.

Being a portion of the land conveyed to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by John F. Foley et ux, by deed dated March 9, 1909, and recorded in the office for the recording of deeds in Clinton County in Deed Book Vol. 78, page 481.

Tract No. 341. Beginning at a point on the dividing line between land, now or formerly, of John W. Cole and land, now or formerly, of Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, said point being distant North 88 degrees 15 minutes 40 seconds East 119.64 feet (measured along said dividing line) from the easterly side of State Highway Route Number 18003; thence over and across said land of Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as follows:

(1) North 02 degrees 59 minutes 18 seconds East 676.15 feet, (2) North 01 degree 54 minutes 11 seconds West 672.69 feet, (3) North 13 degrees 57 minutes 17 seconds East 661.32 feet, (4) North 63 degrees 25 minutes 52 seconds East 69.00 feet, (5) South 40 degrees 07 minutes 46 seconds East 370.51 feet, (6) South 04 degrees 13 minutes 46 seconds East 502.37 feet, (7) South 02 degrees 42 minutes 39 seconds East 368.75 feet, (8) South 19 degrees 25 minutes West 392.77 feet, (9) South 42 degrees 07 minutes 49 seconds West 223.15 feet, (10) South 09 degrees 10 minutes 50 seconds West 330.00 feet, (11) South 88 degrees 15 minutes 40 seconds West 194.54 feet to the point or place of beginning, containing 17.00 acres of land, more or less.

Being a portion of the land conveyed to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by the Lackawanna Timber and Lumber Company, by deed dated May 27, 1909, and recorded in the office for the recording of deeds in Clinton County in Deed Book Vol. 78, page 544.
