Section 120.107 - Consent to acquisition of land

The consent of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is hereby granted, in accordance with the seventeenth clause, eighth section of the first article of the Constitution of the United States, to the acquisition by the United States of America of a certain tract of land in Delaware County, upon which is erected the Chester Range Front Light, containing three-tenths (.3) of an acre, more or less, bounded and described as follows:

Beginning at a point on the pierhead line of the River Delaware as established by the United States Government, said point being forty-two and seventy-five one-hundredths (42.75) feet measured Southeastwardly from a point in the Chester Range, which last mentioned point is at the distance of two thousand, five hundred, six and fifty-three one-hundredths (2506.53) feet measured Southwestwardly from the Chester Range Front Monument and measured at right angles to said Range; thence following the said pierhead line South sixty-four (64) degrees, twenty-seven (27) minutes and forty-seven (47) seconds West one hundred, two and ninety one-hundredths (102.90) feet to a point; thence North thirty-nine (39) degrees, ten (10) minutes and fifty-five (55) seconds West one hundred eighteen and forty-seven one-hundredths (118.47) feet to a point; thence North fifty (50) degrees, forty-nine (49) minutes and five (5) seconds East one hundred (100) feet to a point; thence South thirty-nine (39) degrees ten (10) minutes and fifty-five (55) seconds East one hundred forty-two and seventy-five one-hundredths (142.75) feet to the point or place of beginning.
