Section 1863 - Violation a misdemeanor; penalty

Any person who shall mark a bale of hay or straw higher than its actual weight, or who shall use more than eight per centum of its weight of wood or other material to hold in bundle, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction thereof shall be fined not less than twenty-five dollars nor more than one hundred dollars, in the discretion of the court before whom conviction may be secured.
